You may have been wondering why I've been a little quiet with the posts for the past couple of weeks... well, that's because we have news that I can finally share with you all!! We are with child!!

| First test - result was immediate - taken Tues 11/09/12 |
We have had our first scan, and are sitting at 11 weeks. I've been suffering from a lot of nausea, dizziness and general tiredness, but believe the end reward is well worth it. The scan image below was taken last week, when bubba was a mere 3.6cm - TINY! We also got to listen to bubba's heart beat, at the anticipated rate of 180bpm - will admit, it freaked me out quite a bit! It was moving around a lot, and the lady made suggested it was waving at us, which made me laugh and therefore took us a while to get my belly still to see bubba again.

We were trying desperately hard to wait until the 12 week mark, but we have known for about 6 weeks now and I just couldn't keep this news to ourselves anymore!! Stu is absolutely loving that we have a child on the way, and has been busy making many purchases to deck out the future nursery (he is so cute!!).
Well.. stay tuned for more news, as I'm sure I'll get that famous 'baby bug' and feel the need to share everything about our bubba. I also have my first antenatal visit next week.
