12WBT - Week One

I started the Michelle Bridges (known for the Australian version of Biggest Loser) twelve week program on Monday. I don't like sharing my weight too much with everyone, but she encourages us that the more people we tell and the more ways we share, the more pressured we will feel to stick to our goals.

My goal weight is 75kgs, and at the beginning of the challenge I weighed 85.4kgs. My chest was 102cm, waist 81cm, and my hips were 107cm. I also was a size 16, sometimes 14 if lucky.

On Wednesday, I weighed and was shocked to find I had already lost 1.4kgs, putting me at 84kgs. 14% of my goal weight loss, had been done in just a few days. I am now VERY excited to see next weeks weigh in... although I am still prepared for this have to been a lucky once of.

This week I have stuck to the nutrition plan, had a very naughty "free" night with disgusting KFC, and did not do any of the exercises. (I have been really ill, and am still not recovered). My plan for the coming week is to still stick 100% with the plan, my naughty night be fish or Indian, and to work out every night.

And lastly, and most horrifically, I share with you all an unedited, no makeup, bikini shot of myself that I had to post as part of the program as my BEFORE photo. Before you ask, no my nose is not normally that red... I had been blowing my nose all day.



I am really quite shocked with myself that I was just able to post these photos. This is less than what I wear to the beach or the pool. It is all my cellulite and stretch mark "goodness".. hopefully some of these will disappear with the weight loss.
