The Stampede!

Last Saturday, I got to happily tick off another item from my "Kick Arse Lifestyle List" (aka Bucket List). We participated in The Stampede, a 5km obstacle course... and it was SO MUCH FUN!!

Firstly, some photos of Stuart, Chris and I chilling out waiting for our race time to begin..

happy faces - taken moments after crossing the finishing line.

Hope you enjoyed my photographs from this event. Sorry that there are so many, I just struggled trying to cull it down. We had so much fun, and hope to do it again next year - maybe even go for the 10km next time. You can still donate for our cause CanTeen too.. just pop on over here.

Lots of love,
Chantal

Sunday Sessions #4

Today's list is some of my favourite tunes from the 80's!!

1) Murray Head - One Night In Bangkok

2) Salt N Pepa - Let's Talk About Sex

3) Dead or Alive - You Spin Me Round

4) Mel Brooks - To Be or Not To Be

5) Culture Club - Do You Really Want To Hurt Me
As a teenager I hoped Boy George was my "real dad". In certain light and facial expressions, I look scarily alike!

Lots of Love,

The Big Treat

When Stuart and I first started the 12WBT program, we made a agreement that if we hit our target weights (or very, very close) we would reward ourselves with some "glory" food. Mine was eating at The Pancake Manor (in Ipswich to be specific), and his was to eat a large steak at the Alex Bar and Grill.

Last week, we fulfilled my treat reward as I have been hovering just above 80kgs. Here is the photos that our marvelous glory food. YUMMO!

Getting started properly - a caramel Swiss shake
Slurping away on my shake
Main #1 - The Classic. This used to be my favourite as a child,
potato pancakes with cooked egg, banana and pineapple.
Main #2 - Mushroom crepes. Yummm so creamy
Stuart's face full of glory after eating the delicious mains
When it's time for dessert, it's time for a new drink - iced chocolate
Seriously, look at the ridiculous amount of cream that put on that
And finally, the dessert - Black Forest Cherry. We shared this, and could not finish it!!
Lots of love,
Chantal
